Organizing your home office closet

Reorganizing my home office has been on my to-do list for months. Instead of taking the time to clear out the stuff I didn’t need or rarely used, I complained about my storage closet that needed organizing help. Considering I’m the only one who uses my home office, the complaints fell on my own deaf ears. Finally, I blocked off time last weekend and gave my closet a makeover.

Organizing gurus who try to make you feel bad for not having a perfectly organized home office need to back off. Organization is a personal thing. No two people organize their home office the same way. So if you’re frustrated that you can’t keep your home office organized, stop blaming yourself. It’s not your fault. Maybe you’re fighting your natural working style.
